Fishington.io is the rare io game where nobody is trying to kill you. It's an online fishing hangout for up to 24 players: cast, catch, sell, upgrade — and chat with everyone doing the same.

How to Play

Walk to a fishing spot, cast your line and wait for a bite. Reel in your catch with good timing, then sell fish to earn money for better rods, bait and gear that let you catch rarer species in deeper waters.

A Social Pond

Fishington comes from the makers of Betrayal.io, and the multiplayer here is about company, not combat. The lobby is a shared world: compare catches, chat while you wait for a bite, and enjoy the slow loop of progression from a stick-and-string setup to a serious angler's kit.

Tips

• Timing beats speed — reel when the bite indicator says so, not before

• Upgrade the rod first; it unlocks better fishing spots

• Rare fish live in specific waters: explore the whole map

• Sell in batches and plan purchases; early money is slow money
