Ferals.io is an evolution-survival multiplayer browser game where players evolve from a bug to a dragon, battling other animals along the way. You start as a lowly insect and climb the food chain by eating, surviving, and progressing through increasingly powerful animal tiers. Each tier is deadlier and rarer than the last; reaching dragon status is a major achievement in any given round. Called by many reviewers one of the most viral .io games of 2023.

How to play

Eat smaller creatures and environmental food to grow. Avoid larger ones. Each evolution tier grants new abilities and faster growth rates. Player kills and food eaten are tracked individually, so different playstyles (aggressive hunter vs patient farmer) rank differently on the leaderboards. The top of the food chain is the dragon — but staying there requires constant awareness since every other player wants your spot.

Server switching

The game supports multiple servers; switching mid-session costs your progress, so commit to one region per run. Lost accounts can be recovered via email, and passwords reset through the standard flow (check spam folder — Ferals.io emails sometimes land there).

Privacy and ads

Ferals.io serves ads through third-party companies and uses web beacons and cookies to tailor ads. Analytics tools collect general location, session duration, referrer, and browser info. None of this is personally identifying beyond what's needed to maintain your account.

Tips

• Early tiers: hide in cover, eat only small prey, avoid confrontation
• Mid tiers: hunt aggressively; growth compounds fast once your abilities unlock
• Don't fight at your same tier — too risky; hunt one tier below where the size advantage is clear
