Among Us

Impostor.io takes the visual style of Among Us and drops it into a free-for-all action deathmatch. Forget the sneak-and-lie gameplay of the original — here you're a little armed astronaut sprinting through arenas and fragging every other little astronaut you see. The curtains are down, and it's every man (or alien) for himself. Become the superior life form by defeating rival players, climb the leaderboards, and prove you're the most powerful impostor in the universe.

How to play

Control your character by moving the mouse cursor — an arrow above your character indicates facing direction. Left-click to attack with your equipped weapon, right-click to speed up. Running drains stamina, which is also needed to level up, so you can't just sprint everywhere. Your life is divided into segments (the number of hits you can take), and collecting energy cubes scattered across the arena heals you and helps you level up.

Progression and shop

Every kill earns credits you can spend in the in-game store on character colors, weapons, and hats. A distinctive look makes you appear more experienced and intimidating. The leveling system rewards sustained playtime, not one-match heroics — long sessions with smart cube collection push you far further than raw kill counts.

When to engage

Not every fight is winnable. If you spot a stronger player, back off — your HP segments don't regenerate instantly. Hunting low-HP rivals to finish them beats contesting fresh spawns. Upgrading through cube collection rejuvenates you, so cubes are both XP and healing.

Tips

• Weapon pickups cluster — learn their spawn points and sprint to them first
• Never cross open ground in a straight line; sprint between cover blocks
• Track the kill feed to avoid hot zones where fights just ended
• Don't chase one rival into a crowd — flanks will collapse on you
