Conq.io

Conq.io is a real-time strategy io game about conquering and keeping territory. Expand your borders tile by tile, fortify them with walls and towers, and grind down the neighbors before they grind down you.

How to Play

Start with a small domain and push your borders outward. Captured land generates resources, but every new tile is a tile you must defend. Build walls to channel attackers and towers to shoot them down — the map slowly turns into a maze of competing fortresses.

• Build defenses: Click build options, then place on your territory

Attack and Defense

The heart of Conq.io is the balance between growth and safety. Overextend and a single breach lets an enemy flood deep into your land; turtle too hard and richer neighbors out-scale you. Chokepoints, layered walls and tower coverage decide long wars.

Tips

• Expand toward resources early, but wall off a defensible core first

• Layer defenses — one wall is a speed bump, three walls are a fortress

• Watch weakened neighbors: land grabs are cheapest after someone else's war

• Leave yourself gates; a sealed empire can't counterattack

• Towers overlapping fields of fire beat scattered lone towers
