Betrayal.io

Betrayal.io is an online multiplayer mystery game for 6 to 12 players. Most of the lobby are innocent crew members completing tasks around the map — but among them hide betrayers whose goal is to quietly eliminate everyone without getting caught.

How to Play

As a crew member, walk around the map and complete your list of mini-task objectives. Stay alert: if you find a body, report it and discuss with other players who seems suspicious. As the betrayer, blend in, fake tasks, and pick off isolated players when nobody is watching.

• Move: WASD or mouse

• Interact / use: On-screen buttons

• Report / discuss: Automatic when a body is found or a meeting is called

Discussion and Voting

When a meeting is called, everyone debates in chat and votes on who to eject. This is where the real game happens: reading behavior, catching lies, and convincing others — with no hard proof — that you are innocent.

Tips

• As crew, stick with a buddy — lone players are easy targets

• Track who was where; alibis win votes

• As the betrayer, don't rush: a quiet early game builds trust

• Fake tasks near real task locations to look legitimate

• Vote carefully — ejecting an innocent player helps the betrayers
