Football Bros brings American football to the browser in bite-size multiplayer matches with all kinds of crazy action. Pick a side, call your play, run the QB or the receivers, hurl long bombs, or grind out the ground game. Bone-crushing tackles aren't a bug — they're a feature. It's a simple, fast-paced football game with online multiplayer, a deep playbook, and enough wild hijinks to keep every down entertaining.

How to play

Use arrow keys or WASD to control your bro. The spacebar throws a pass, dives, or stiff-arms depending on the situation. Call plays before each snap — offense executes the play (pass or run for yardage), defense reads the offense and tries to break tackles or intercept. Match ends on score threshold or timer.

College and league content

64 college teams including the recently added Indiana Irish (which eliminated bye-week black-screen bugs). Team balance changes come in regular patches — New England and Denver QBs got buffed in the November 2025 update, Chicago QB got a small nerf. Fixed mathbros kickoff glitch and moved the two-point conversion and extra-point lines of scrimmage back to the 10-yard line.

Chrome is the only browser with guaranteed support. Football Bros is tested on Firefox and Safari but compatibility isn't promised. If the game won't load, disable ad blockers and confirm your network doesn't block the site.

Tips

• Mix pass and run; predictable play-calling gets sniffed out within a drive
• Time your snap reads on defense — early leaves gaps, late loses contain
• Long bombs are high-risk but game-changing; save for key downs
• Tackle hard = forced turnovers; don't ghost-touch, commit to hits
• On 4th down, calculate yards-to-go carefully — punting on 4th-and-short is usually wrong if you're behind
