Play Snake

Snake.io is the classic snake in a massive multiplayer arena. You steer a growing snake, eat glowing pellets to extend, and trap other players by positioning your body so they can't avoid the crash. Simple controls, endless variation — every match plays differently based on who's on the map.

How to play

Move with the mouse or drag on mobile. Hold to boost at the cost of some length. Other snakes die if their head touches your body. When they die, their length turns into food you can grab to accelerate your growth.

Styles

Some players farm food carefully; others boost aggressively into kills. Long-term top-scorers generally farm first and only engage when they have a clear size advantage — panic boosting is the #1 way to die small.

Tips

• Early game: just eat, don't engage
• Coil around smaller snakes to force crashes
• Don't boost unless you've spotted a clean kill setup
• Be wary of circles — snakes coil for a reason, they're hunting
