LOLSHOT.io is an awesome aerial first-person shooter considered one of the best IO games around. It's a fast-paced, fun shooting game where you challenge and dominate your opponents in an aerial arena. You don't ground-hug — you launch yourself skyward with rockets, splash-damage rivals mid-flight, and rack up style combos. Make amazing tricks like air-kills and long-shots to score more points, and use jumpads or rocket jumps to evade opponents. Play free online in your browser.

How to play

Controls: WASD to move, mouse to aim and shoot, right-click or space to jump. Your own rockets propel you upward when fired at the ground — chain jumps for altitude, and landing is usually a mistake unless you need to reload. Score by hitting rivals with direct hits (high damage) or splash damage within the blast radius. Note: mobile isn't supported yet — play on PC instead.

Weapons

The arsenal is diverse, each weapon rewarding different playstyles: - Assault: no spread, no recoil, high rate of fire - Shotgun: high damage at close range, low damage from afar, shoots several bullets in a spreading cone - Rocket launcher: direct hit causes high damage, splash damage within blast range, blast pushes away players - Flamethrower: fire sticks to surfaces and causes continuous damage, great for zoning - Caution: rockets cause self-damage — that's a feature, used for rocket-jumping

Customization

After a match, head to the customize menu to equip new items. Settings are extensive: weapon auto-switch on/off, mouse sensitivity, mouse acceleration, field of view, fully custom keybindings, graphics low/high, client-side prediction with accuracy levels. Press ESC and click the gear icon to adjust.

Tips

• Self-splash equals height — use your own rockets under you for airtime
• Never ground-camp; you're a sitting target in this game
• Predict rival jumps and pre-aim where they'll land, not where they are
• Combo multipliers pay off — chain hits without landing for maximum score
• Learn weapon ranges — shotgun versus rocket at 30 meters is a guaranteed loss for shotgun
