HexTank.io

HexTank.io is a PvP browser tank arena set on a hex grid in a sci-fi battle zone. You command a single HexTank and fight for the #1 position on the score leaderboard, ranked by total damage dealt across continuous deathmatch tournaments. The hex-based movement turns every duel into a tactical exchange of angles, cooldowns, and cover usage rather than twitch-shooter reflexes.

How to play

Use WASD or arrow keys for movement, space to shoot. Each HexTank joins the tournament with 5 HP and a 10-second invincibility window to find a hideout before fighting. Turrets aim independently of movement, so you can shift along one hex while lining up the gun on another target. Reload is significant — every shot counts, and committing an empty barrel is the fastest way to die.

Ranking system

The leaderboard doesn't reward kills alone — it ranks you by total damage given across the session. That means consistent chip damage across many fights beats a handful of clean one-shots. Tanks that sustain positional pressure on high-HP rivals rise faster than pure ambushers.
