Germs.io

Germs.io is a polished take on the Agar.io cell-eater formula. You spawn as a small blob, scoot around eating food pellets to grow, and absorb any smaller player you can close in on. Graphics are noticeably cleaner than the original, the framerate holds up under a crowded map, and the core loop still lands — "one more try" is the only thing it asks.

How to play

Steer with the mouse. Eat pellets. Eat smaller cells. Run from bigger cells. Splits double your speed but halve your size, so use them only for guaranteed kills or panicked escapes.

What makes it different

Smoother rendering, tighter hit detection, and no downloads. If Agar.io got stiff on your machine, Germs.io usually runs better on the same browser.

Tips

• Don't split unless you can see a sure target or a sure escape route
• Viruses split any big cell that touches them — use them as weapons against whales
• Cell edge collisions matter more than center; always approach prey from the side
• Leaderboard is motivational, not strategic — don't chase rank, chase good trades
