Familiars.io is a retro pixel-art MMORPG centered on catching, leveling, and battling monsters. If you grew up with Pokemon and modern monster-catchers, it plays the way you'd expect — explore areas, encounter wild familiars, capture with items, train them up for PvP and bosses. The multiplayer layer adds trading and co-op content that single-player catchers never had.

How to play

Explore zones to find wild familiars. Battle to weaken them, throw capture items to collect. Level up your team by fighting. Team builds matter — different types counter each other, so a balanced roster beats a one-trick stack.

• Capture every new species you see; utility comes up later
• Level evenly early; one-overleveled familiars fall off in endgame
• Trade duplicates with other players for gaps in your collection
• Don't ignore PvP — the best ranked rewards come from there
