Devast.io

Devast.io is a top-down post-apocalyptic survival game played live with other players on the map. You scavenge ruins for materials, craft tools and weapons, find food, and build a shelter to protect yourself from both the environment and the dozens of strangers sharing your server. Every decision is a trade-off between safety and progress.

How to play

Gather resources from the environment — wood, metal, cloth, food. Craft upgrades at workbenches. Build walls, doors, and a bunker to lock down a base. Keep your hunger, thirst, and temperature in check. Die and everything you carried drops for someone else to loot.

Other survivors

Some players trade. Some raid. Most avoid contact when possible. Reading the map — which bases look active, which look abandoned — is a core survival skill.

Tips

• First priority: food and a basic shelter. Tools second
• Don't build your base in sight of a major spawn area
• Craft a backup weapon and hide it offsite — raiders will find your main stash
• Never trade your best gear to a stranger; trade trash, keep trades small
