Stein World

Stein.world is a free-to-play 2D pixel-art MMORPG running right in your browser. No downloads, no installs — just a proper old-school MMO with hundreds of quests, dungeons, professions, and a flexible item-based character system.

How to Play

Create your character, pick up your first quest, and start exploring the world. Combat is active — dodge enemy attacks, time your strikes, level up your skills. The core story follows your quest to recover a family heirloom, the legendary beer stein.

Controls

• WASD or arrow keys — move
• Mouse — interact, attack, cast spells
• 1-9 — hotkeys for skills and items
• I — inventory
• M — map

Character System

No rigid classes — your equipment defines your playstyle. Wear heavy armor and wield a sword to play a tank, or equip robes and a staff to cast spells. Mix and match however you want.

Professions

Master multiple crafts to supply your own gear:

• Mining — gather ore from the world
• Herbalism — collect herbs for potions
• Tailoring — craft armor and robes
• Cooking and potion brewing (coming soon)

Dungeons

Team up with up to 5 players for group dungeons, or try the wave dungeon mode — survive increasingly tough waves of enemies for better loot.

Tips

• Follow the main quest to learn game mechanics
• Pick up 2 professions early — you'll save a lot of gold
• Join a group for dungeons — solo runs are much harder
• Trade with other players for gear you can't craft
• Save gold for the best gear tiers — don't buy every upgrade
