Splix.io

Splix.io is the IO-style revival of the classic Xonix game — capture territory piece by piece and try to own the biggest share of the map. Simple, brilliant, addictive.

How to Play

You control a small character on a grid. Your color covers the grid cells you own. Venture outside your territory, draw a line back to it, and everything enclosed becomes yours. But while you're drawing the line, you're vulnerable — if another player crosses it, you die.

Controls

• WASD or Arrow keys — move (only 4 directions)

Mechanics

• Territory ownership — complete a loop to claim the area inside
• Vulnerability — while outside your territory, anyone can kill you by crossing your trail
• Safe return — stepping back into your own territory locks in your claim
• Collision — running into another territory or trail

• Global leaderboards — compete worldwide
• Server selection — pick your region for lower ping

Tips

• Take small bites early — don't overextend
• Watch for other players' trails — one crossing = free kill
• When you see someone drawing nearby, chase their tail
• Hug your own border for safe expansion
• The bigger you get, the bigger target you become — stay alert
